So it has been over a month since I posted!! I don't know where the time went. I guess that we have been busy. I find that writing for me is always something I do more when something is bothering me, so I guess it is a good sign when I am not. However, I sometimes wish that I was more consistent with journaling/blogging. oh well, whatever I can do will have to do!
I want to put some pictures up from the last month.
First - Halloween:
Also in october we got a new kitty! Her name is Katie and we are calling her Ms. Katie in honor of our beloved Ms. Ouza.
I think it was love at first sight! Although Marisol has mentioned Ms. Ouza a few times recently -- she misses her. But Katie has adjusted really well!
The two above show Marisol's unique sense of style. The girl LOVES to layer and she has been into dresses a lot lately. Which has been great for potty training. She is doing really well with that too!
Here are some more of the nakedness which is a regular part of our life around here:
With mommy's socks on.
This is a favorite of mine -- she has Josie's leg warmers on, is eating an apple, and nursing bedtime bear
With her raincoat and boots on.
With Daddy at the zoo at Central Park in NYC.
Bath in the sink! This was her idea -- she was "washing" dishes for me and next thing I knew she climbed into the sink!
Fast asleep with Josie.
Cuddling with Daniel. awww, aren't they so cute??
Talking to Grandma on the phone. (not really, but pretending!)
Everyone gets a phone!
What?? Am I too close to the TV? nah.... I'm up here hanging with all my furry friends (also known as Care Bears) and Dora!
Experimenting with "oobleck" (cornstarch, water, and food coloring). Daniel loved it! Marisol was more interested in drinking the water with a dropper -- whatever makes you happy!!
Feeding Josie.
ahhh!! the headless, naked wonder!! oh no, it's just Marisol with her new winter hat on...
Another great outfit -- two dresses, (did I mention she loves to layer??), bunny ears, and a pink doggy backpack.
We got the christmas decorations out today (I know, already!!) I like to get in the spirit early Marisol was having a great time looking though them and we are making some cookies too!
Ok, that's all for now.
Oh wait -- one more picture of Marisol -- this one is from a year ago. She is getting so big!! We actually trimmed her hair last night for the FIRST time. It looks really good (Mike did the actually cutting - great job daddy!) I of course have mixed feelings, she looks different, a little older, and the curls are shorter. I really don't think that her hair will stay curly. Who knows though, maybe I'm wrong!
Have a great Sunday afternoon and week -- Thanksgiving! And while I'm at it I may as well wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
